(JW Insights) Jun 25-- Automotive Intelligence and Control of China(国汽智控, AICC), a Beijing-based provider of intelligent automotive computing platform, completed a new round of financing, the company announced on June 21 without disclosing the specific amount in over a few RMB millions.
The funding was led by heavyweight investors, including Zhongke Holding and a fund under China International Capital Corporation (CICC), with participation from Chinese battery giant CATL and former investor Delta Capital.
As the automotive industry undergoes rapid transformation and upgrade, the development of computing platforms has emerged as a critical direction with tremendous commercial potential and social value. This new round of financing is expected to accelerate the commercialization and ecosystem development of AICC’s autonomous driving operating system, as well as promote the adoption and market share of its computing platform products.
These efforts will further enhance the company’s competitiveness and enable it to better serve its customers, according to the company.
Established in July 2020, AICC positions itself as a leading provider of intelligent automotive computing platforms. The company is headquartered in Beijing and has research and development centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Shenzhen, and Silicon Valley.
